NFL Week 12 picks: 49ers rout Vikings; Bears, Cowboys, Bills win on Thanksgiving

Long story short, here are my NFL picks for Week 12:

49ers 33, Vikings 14: The home-field curse has been lifted, the 49ers are on a heater and the Vikings are as doomed as they were in their 2019 playoff visit. Line: 49ers -3

Bears 30, Lions 28: No table is more gracious on Thanksgiving than the one in Detroit, where guests this season have won with 41, 19, 34, 44, and now 30 points. Line: Lions +3

Cowboys 27, Raiders 23: Dallas is the NFL’s third-best scoring team, and linebacker Micah Parsons is the NFL’s defensive rookie of the year. Line: Raiders +7 1/2

Bills 31, Saints 20: Two years ago, Emmanuel Sanders and Matt Breida helped the 49ers win in New Orleans, and now they’re doing the same for the Bills. Line: Bills -6 1/2

Bengals 27, Steelers 26: You know what hasn’t happened since 2009? The Bengals sweeping the season series from the Steelers. Line: Steelers +4 1/2

Jets 26, Texans 21: Zach Wilson owns the AFC South (2-0). Line: Jets +2 1/2

Titans 21, Patriots 17: Mike Vrabel improves to 3-0 against Bill Belichick. (Nobody owns Belichick, other than Tom Brady.) Line: Titans +7

Bucs 23, Colts 17: Bruce Arians won Coach of the Year honors with the Colts’ interim tag in 2012, and he could merit it this year if the Bucs rally to defend their crown. Line: Bucs -3

Falcons 24, Jaguars 21: Go with geography on this one to note that Atlanta is on top of Jacksonville (by 345 miles). Line: Falcons -2 1/2

Dolphins 26, Panthers 24: After losing seven straight, the Dolphins certainly could win seven straight, and this makes No. 4 in a row. Line: Dolphins +2

Eagles 32, Giants 19: Firing offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was no simple solution — on a short week to prepare — for an Eagles team that’s won eight of the past nine meetings. Line: Eagles -3 1/2

Chargers 23, Broncos 20: Unlike their previous two visits, the Chargers are the team that wins in walk-off fashion this time. Line: Chargers -2 1/2

Rams 31, Packers 23: The Rams had their bye week to stew over that 31-10 thrashing by the 49ers. Line: Rams -1

Ravens 20, Browns 16: Cleveland loses its fourth straight against the Ravens. Line: Ravens -3 1/2

Seahawks 29, Washington 20: Seattle finally shines in prime time – ahead of hosting the 49ers next weekend in a game just flexed out of the Sunday night slot. Line: Seahawks +1

Last week: 6-9 straight up, 10-5 against the spread

Season: 89-75-1 straight up, 78-86-1 against the spread
